Welcome to the Maladaptive Daydreaming Test.

This test is based on The 16-item Maladaptive Daydreaming Scale (MDS-16) developed in 2016 by Somer et al.

Instructions

  • The Maladaptive Daydreaming Test has 16 questions
  • Each question should be answered referring to your daydreaming activities in the last month, if not otherwise specified
  • You will be prompted to answer each question on a scale ranging from 0% to 100%, with 10% intervals (0% = Never/None of the time; 100% = All of the time/Extreme amounts)
  • This test is free of charge and all results remain anonymous.
